Man identified following disturbance

A man who died at a house in Poundswick has been identified.

Shortly before 11.50pm on Sunday 17 February 2013, police were called to a house on Pembury Close, following reports of a disturbance.

Officers attended and discovered Damien Gary Anthony Ball, aged 29, from Wythenshawe, unconscious. He was taken to hospital where he later died.

A 27-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until 8 April 2013.

A post mortem found the cause of death was inconclusive. There will be further toxicology tests carried out to establish the cause of death.
