An elderly woman has died a week after she was involved in a collision with a reversing car in Stockport.
At about 3.10pm, the woman, named as Betty Whitman from Stockport, was leaving a Christmas Fair at St Matthews Church on Grenville Road in Edgeley.
She fell to the floor after colliding with a reversing silver Mini.
Betty was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries, including fractures to her right leg.
After further treatment and complications, Betty sadly died on Sunday 2 December 2012.
Nobody else was injured.
Police Sergeant Lee Westhead said: "Our thoughts are with Betty's family at this difficult time.
"We are currently trying to establish how much the collision ultimately led to her death, and we will work closely with the coroner as our enquiries continue.
"As part of the investigation, I would appeal to any witnesses to the collision to call us."
