Police have released images of stolen property after a van was discovered at a supermarket in Clayton.
Shortly before 4.15pm on Monday 11 September 2017, police received a report of an abandoned van at an Aldi on Ashton New Road.
Officers attended and discovered a number of items in the van they believe were stolen, including drills, drill bits and other power tools.
Images of these mechanical tools have been released in the hope that people will recognise the tools and come forward.
Police Constable Christian Midgley of GMP’s Specialist Operations team, said: “The amount of items we’ve found stolen in this van is overwhelming, I’m sure there are a lot of people without their essential power tools.
“I’m asking for anyone who has had a drill, or accessories, taken from them recently to look through the images and see if you recognise them.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 1241 of 11/09/17, or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
