Three men stabbed in bar fight in Manchester

Three men suffered stab wounds following a bar fight in Manchester City Centre.

Shortly after 3.55am on Sunday 25 June 2017, police were called to reports that a man had been stabbed on Princess Street.

Officers attended and established that three men had been stabbed as a result of a large scale fight that broke out outside Charlie’s Bar between two groups of men.

Three men were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries and have since been discharged.

Police have made eight arrests and have now released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Michael Burns from GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “I appreciate this incident happened three months ago but I am hoping that someone will recognise the man pictured in the CCTV image.

“If you recognise this man or think you may have witnessed anything that night that could help our investigation then I would urge you to contact police.

“Similarly I would like to appeal directly to the man pictured, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 514 of 25 June 2017, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
