Division Commander

David Hull Superintendent
Airport Commander

Here at Manchester Airport, the Police team is committed to providing a Policing service, which is relevant, accessible, and responsive to the communities we serve. That means that whether you are part of the 22,000 strong community that works at the Airport, or one of the millions of passengers who travel through here every year, we are here to serve and support you.

While we have some fixed and non-negotiable elements to our work, such as aviation security, contingencies, protective services and crime and disorder, we also have room within our agenda to let our communities and partners set some priorities and objectives with us. If there are issues affecting our communities safety, or ways in which our communities would like us to work to make them feel safer and more confident, then this is something we are committed to.

We are working hard to deliver the Policing Pledge, which is our promise to you.  The teams at the airport are ready to listen to your concerns and the issues affecting you to make the airport a safe place to work in and travel through.

We are also making sure that people know how to contact or access our services here, what standards they can expect from us and how the community can actually influence our policing activities. We will then ensure we feedback to them on what we did and what we were able to achieve.

You can find out more about the Policing Pledge at gmp.police.uk/policingpledge

The Airport community represents a great opportunity for Policing to become an increasingly relevant aspect of life and place itself directly at the heart of what goes on here.
