Welcome to the neighbourhood pages for Leigh. The team, based at Leigh Police Station, cover the areas of Atherleigh, Leigh West, Leigh East and Leigh South.

Over the last year we have had great success in tackling drug dealing in the local area, executing a number of warrants, making arrests, seizing drugs and weapons. Recent successes include the arrest of three armed robbers following a recent robbery at a pub and the sentencing of a prolific shoplifter.

    Woman jailed following the death of man in Wythenshawe

    A woman has been jailed after the death of a man in Wythenshawe.

    Man charged with Beech Hill firearms discharge

    Jamie Bailey (17/10/89) of Forest Avenue, Beech Hill has been charged with possession of a firearm less than 30cm in length and possession of a firearm with intent to danger life.
