Comments: As a marketing manager responsible for sponsoring many ACPO events I had the pleasure to meet Michael Todd on a number of occasions and enjoyed his company at several functions and social events, He was always great company - his pride and professionalism in his job was matched by his friendly and affable nature, he often helped myself and colleagues with queries on communicating with police forces and also, as I was a recent father of twins he had some helpful advice (and sympathy!) for my situation as it was something we had in common. I only bumped into him about 10 days ago at an ACPO conference and saw him briefly but the friendly smile and greeting was there as always. He will be sadly missed not just by his family. friends and police colleagues but by people like myself who thought of him as far more than just a customer.
