"I believe that someone out there knows exactly how Francis came by his injuries that night. I would urge them to think about what Francis's family are going through, and to call me with whatever information they have.

"In particular I would like to hear from anyone who saw Francis in Wigan town centre that night.

"I would also like to hear from anyone who was in a vehicle or walking along Frog Lane between 4am and 4.15am, Sunday morning 17 June.

"From CCTV it is clear that there were a number of vehicles and pedestrians in the area at that time and I would really like to speak to them."
