Do you think you could help lead and shape one of the largest police forces in the UK? Greater Manchester Police is supporting the College of Policing’s Direct Entry Programme which opens up leadership opportunities for professionals from specialisms outside of policing. You can apply via two routes on either the Inspector or Superintendent pathways.
Following the announcement of the launch of the College of Policing Direct Entry programme for Inspectors and Superintendents, future applicants are invited to attend a North West regional information evening in February.
The event will include two contributions from a current Superintendent and an Inspector who will offer their insight on the roles. There will be a detailed explanation of the programme and what it entails as well as plenty of opportunities for questions.
If you have any family or friends who are looking for an exciting avenue into policing please share this event with them, and encourage them to look at the Leadbeyond.police.uk website where they will find all the information they need to make an application.
The College of Policing are holding an information evening on Tuesday 28 February at the Midland Hotel in Manchester and will run from 6-9pm as well as a number of other events around the country.
Previously, these events have been oversubscribed so we recommend that you book as early as possible to secure your place.
