Firstly I would like to tell you about the success of OPERATION SHERRY, officers worked hard in and around the Town Centre during the festive months in order to combat shoplifting and antisocial behaviour. The campaign resulted in a crime reduction and the apprehension 43 offenders. Of particular note, ‘Nirvana’, a shop selling legal highs formed part of an extensive partnership operation.
