Police Officers
GMP is one of the largest provincial forces in England and Wales.
Being part of such a large force brings fantastic opportunities in terms of career development and promotion, meaning that once you have finished your two-year probationary period, you have the opportunity to take your career in any direction you choose.
Recruitment during 2012/13 has focused on filling 50 Student Officer roles from GMP's PCSOs, Special Constables and other Police Staff. As yet, no recruitment plan is in place for 2013/14. Should any external recruitment be approved, this website will be updated with further information.
