We do not accept reports of crime electronically. If you need to report non-urgent crime please dial 101.
When to call 101
- Reporting a crime that has already happened
- Getting crime prevention advice
- Giving police information about crime in your area
- Contacting local officers or
- Any other non-emergency
If you need to contact the police in an emergency, please dial 999.
When to call 999
999 should only be used in an emergency. An emergency is when someone is at risk of getting injured, bring threatened or a crime is being committed and is in progress. The police should only be called on 999 when: There is a danger to life or a risk of injury being caused imminently
