Man in custody after woman found dead in Leigh

At 10am this morning (Saturday 15 December 2018), police were called to Maple Crescent by the ambulance service after a woman being found unresponsive in a house.

Teen driver jailed after hitting three-year-old, Leigh

The 16-year-old – who cannot be named for legal reasons – left three-year-old Leo Durrington fighting for his life after the force of the stolen van he was driving ripped the child
