Tribute to a man who died in Bolton collision


The family of a man who died in a collision in Bolton has paid tribute to him.

At about 7.15pm on Friday 6 October 2017, a green VW Passat was driving on the westbound carriageway of Topp Way in Bolton, when it collided with a man who was crossing at the pedestrian crossing.

The man, who has been formally identified as Anthony Locke, 72, sadly died in hospital.

Anthony’s family paid tribute to him: “Anthony was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all who met and loved him.

“We ask at this time for our privacy whilst we grieve as a family.”
