/ Six charged after raids in Stockport

Six people have been charged after raids in Stockport.

All six have been charged with offences including conspiracy to commit burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, money laundering and handling stolen goods.

Jake McMahon (11/08/1992) of no fixed abode has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today, Friday 8 December 2017.

The remaining five will be appearing at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 9th January 2018.

On Thursday 7 December 2017 officers made arrests as part of Operation Banchory, which is an investigation into commercial burglaries in the area.

The following have been charged:

Ryan Ridgeway (06/05/1984) Chesworth Close, Stockport has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and money laundering.

Scott Ridgeway (06/06/1979) Bosden Close, Stockport has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

Andrew Hill (05/07/1977) Laburnum Way, Stockport has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

Robin Osego (08/04/1976) of Bolton Road, Radcliffe has been charged with money laundering and handling stolen goods.

Lucy Atkinson (15/05/1980) of Bolton Road, Radcliffe has been charged with money laundering and handling stolen goods.
