/ A Gross Misconduct Hearing will be held 17/10/16

A Gross Misconduct Hearing will be held on Monday the 17th October 2016 and is scheduled to last for 5 days. The hearing will be live streamed to Heywood Police Station, Queens Park Rd at the junction with Adelaide Street, Heywood, Manchester OL10 4HF, where members of the public wishing to watch the hearing may do so.

Inspector 8076 David Kehoe will answer allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Honesty and Integrity Respect and Courtesy Orders and Instructions and Discreditable Conduct contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.

Available space will limit numbers of the public attending at the live stream venue to 40. Seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you wish to attend you will be required to pre-register by ringing 0161 856 2910 before 3pm on Friday 14th October 2016 and will be required to provide your details including name, address, date of birth and contact telephone number. This information will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.Anyone who has not pre-registered will not be allowed in the hearing. Anyone who registers to attend must produce valid Photo ID to prove they are the person who has registered to attend before being allowed entry.

Attendees may be searched prior to entry. No recording or filming of the proceedings is allowed, anyone who fails to comply with this may be escorted off the premises. Anyone behaving in a disruptive manner at the venue will be escorted off the premises.

Please note that are no parking or refreshment facilities available at the venue.

The Chair may also decide impose other conditions in advance of, or during the hearing. The conditions set out above are intended to facilitate the proper conduct of proceedings.
