The family of a man who died following a collision in Levenshulme has paid tribute.
Jordan Uddin, 26, was walking on Stockport Road at around 2:15am on Thursday 14 February 2019, when he was involved in a collision with a black Ford Fiesta.
Emergency services attended and Jordan was taken to hospital for treatment but he sadly passed away.
Paying tribute to him, his family said: “Jordan was a sensitive and kind soul who was always looking after others and wanted everyone to be happy.
“He was a cheeky and quirky young man who enjoyed being outdoors and active, particularly if it involved martial arts.
“Jordan’s desire to look after others has continued even after his passing, as he made the decision that he wanted his organs to be donated in the event of his death.
“Honouring his decision was incredibly difficult for us but we are so glad that we did as organ donation is extremely important and we are so proud of our boy for making this decision so that others could have a chance at life.
“He is a brother, son and friend who will be sadly missed by all who were lucky enough to have him in their lives.”
