What: Overnight burglaries, theft from motor vehicles, anti-social behaviour and theft of vehicles.

Where: Incidents happening all across the Lowton East area.

When: Various times.

Update: High visibility foot patrol in the area speaking to residents and offering reassurance making them aware. House to house carried out and target hardened, images have been in some cases provided to help with the investigation. Information has been sent out to the community via social media to be vigilant, and to report any suspicious activity or persons. Councillors updated at regular surgeries which are held at the Lowton St Mary Church Hall off Newton Road.

What: Anti-social behaviour.

Where: Incidents happening around Lowton Civic Hall, Oaklands Road outside the chip shop and surrounding parks.

When: Mainly at weekends.

Update: Youths spoken to at the hot spots for causing antisocial behavior have been issued with contact cards after being advised then sent on their way. The contact cards is sent off to local Authority where a letter is sent to their parents making them aware of what their kids are up to whilst not in their presence, in some cases home visits have been done by persons from the anti-social behaviour team with more problematic young persons, diversionary plans are introduced to engage with them.
