Below is a full list of priorities for your community:

What: To reduce antisocial behaviour in the Swinley area.

Where: Whitley Park

When: Mainly at the weekends from 1800hrs.

Update: Extra patrols are now running in the area and and an operation is running during Friday and Saturday evenings. Contact cards have been issued and will be sent through to the Anti-Social Behaviour Team

What: There has been an increase of incidents of drugs dealing in the local area

Where: Coppull Lane, Swinley

When: Various times and dates.

Update: We currently have an active Home Watch Group set up and we will pay extra attention to this area. Gathering Intelligence from the local community.

What: Increase in reports of damage/theft from vehicles.

Where: Whitley and Whelley area

When: Mainly at the weekends- Evening times

Update: High-visibility patrols in the area. Reassurance to victims and crime prevention advise given out whilst out on patrol

What: Theft from person

Where: Town centre

When: Daytime

Update: Local officers have contacted other forces and units in order to gather intelligence for travelling offenders. Extra attention has been given and lots of crime prevention days conducted by PCSO's. Purse Bells and bungees have also been given out to the community as part of their CPA days.

What: There has been increase with the amount of calls rang into the police regarding prostitution.

Where: Town Centre

When: Most evenings

Update: High Visibility patrols increased. Intelligence gathered from other agencies and members of the public. On-going enquiries.

What: Increase in begging in the Town Centre

Where: Town Centre

When: During the day and also night time economy.

Update: Currently being monitored by CCTV to gather Intelligence. Section 222 has finished but GMP and the council are currently applying for public spaces protection order which will help reduce begging any other anti-social behaviour related problems.
