Brian Nicholls

The Stockport Central Neighbourhood Policing Team communities include Stockport town Centre, Edgeley, Cheadle Heath, Shaw Heath and Offerton.

Our five main priorities are to:

· Increase public satisfaction
· Tackle anti-social behaviour
· Reduce domestic burglary
· Reduce vehicle crime
· Protect vulnerable people

You have told us that anti-social behaviour is your main priority. On this website you can now see the priorities listed and what action we have taken. Offenders and the misery they spread in neighbourhood will not be tolerated and my officers will be visible on the streets robustly targeting them. We have also safe4summer in place over the summer holidays to provide respite for communities and keep young people in constructive, diversionary activities. Young people can visit safe4summer.com to see what activities are available.

If you do have any information that will be useful to us please call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 – where you will not have to leave a statement or give your name. If we do not know about it we cannot tackle it.
