Inspector Alex Taylor joined GMP in 1997 and was initially posted to Stockport. During his career he has worked in a number of areas of Greater Manchester and has performed a wide range of roles in uniform including roads policing, the Tactical Aid Unit, Manchester Airport and Custody Branch. He returned to Stockport in 2018, becoming the Neighbourhood Inspector for Central, Brinnington and Cheadle Heath in September 2018.

Man charged after burglaries in Hazel Grove

Josh Buxton (23/03/19) of The Bentley’s, Lancashire Hill has been charged with burglary and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday 25 March 2019.

Two people appearing in court charged with drug offence

Dean Entwistle (07/06/74) of George Street East, Offerton and Sharon Todd (11/04/75) of Sheerness Street, Openshaw have both been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
