Police concern is growing for a teenage girl who has been missing since Tuesday.

Sarah Wallace, aged 17, was last seen at an address on Wilbraham Road, Chorlton at 7pm on Tuesday 8 January 2013.

Sarah suffers from autism and has learning difficulties.

She is white and described as slim build, 5ft 4in tall, with long dyed red hair, which she usually wears clipped back.

When Sarah was last seen, she was wearing a long black coat, black trousers and pink converse trainers.

Police Constable Gavin Jackson from West Didsbury police station said: "We are making a number of enquiries to find Sarah so we can ensure she is safe. We are appealing to anyone that may have seen her since last night to get in touch with us.

"If Sarah herself can see or hear this appeal, I would like to reassure her she is not in any trouble, but we are concerned for her and want to hear from her to know she is ok."
