GMP's Christmas Card winner revealed

We are pleased to announce that out of all the fantastic entries for our Christmas card competition, not one but two winners have been chosen.

Jacob Wilson from Dukinfield, aged 11 (who won the age category 10-14) and Katie Waters from Radcliffe, aged seven (who won the age category aged nine and below) have both won this year as the Chief Constable Ian Hopkins found it impossible to choose from the two.

This year the brief was to ‘Look for the Crook’ – we asked children to create a card showing the Christmas Crook on the loose causing mischief.

Jacob and Katie visited Greater Manchester Police Headquarters with their mums to be personally thanked by Chief Constable Ian Hopkins.

Their prize is a VIP visit to Hough End to the Mounted and Dog Units, along with a £10 voucher for Amazon each.

More than 70 entries were received across two age categories and we received some amazing artwork resulting in a very hard decision to choose an overall winner.

Both winning drawings will be digitised and sent to partners, agencies and individuals who have supported GMP throughout the year.
