CCTV has been released after a shop was raided

CCTV has been released by Trafford detectives after a shop was raided.

The footage, which shows three people storm into Prize Wise on Stretford Road, Old Trafford has been released to encourage people with information to come forward.

The robbery happened at the shop on Thursday 19 July around 10.30pm.

Demands for money, cigarettes and alcohol were made and a shop worker in his 40s received minor injuries to his head and back.

Anyone who recognises the people in the CCTV or has any information linked to the robbery should contact police.

Detective Constable Stuart Rostron of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: “A large quantity of products were taken from the shop but thankfully, the shop worker escaped without a more serious injury.

“Please take time to study the footage and let us know as soon as possible if you recognise the people or have any information that could help us.”
