Man charged after firearms incident in Bury

A man has been charged after using a firearm in Bury.

Amur Zaraf (09/07/1985) of Walmersley Road in Bury has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and dangerous driving.

He has been remanded to HMP Manchester and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday 14 November 2017.

This charge relates to an incident that occurred on Saturday 23 September 2017 when a man was assaulted and threatened with a firearm on Kershaw Street in Bury.
