/ Five charged following the murder of a man in Bury

Five men have been charged in connection with the death of a man in Bury.

Edward Fitzgerald (21/10/1968) of Walmersley Road, Bury has been charged with the murder of 50-year-old Raymond Dixon.

Anthony Dennison (22/03/1974) of no fixed address and Lee Hopkinson (22/11/1988) of no fixed address have been charged with manslaughter and robbery.

Dean Murray (14/09/1968) of Heyside Way, Bury and Wayne Englebert (01/06/1978) of Heyside Way, Bury have been charged with perverting the course of justice.

They have been remanded to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 February 2019.

At around 1.25am on Tuesday 12 February 2019, police were called by the ambulance service to reports that the body of a man had been found at a property on Myrtle Street North in Bury.

Officers attended and discovered the body of Raymond Dixon.
