Police are investigating after a man had his car stolen by men armed with weapons in Hyde.
At midnight on Sunday 9 April 2017 the victim, a 30-year-old man, was in his car on Werneth Low Road when a dark Vauxhall car drove past.
Two men then got out of the car, approached the victim, and threatened him with a baseball bat and a knife, demanding that he hand his keys over. One of the men struck him with the knife and they both fled in the victim’s car, a grey BMW X1, followed by the Vauxhall.
The BMW was located on Waterside Court, Hattersley a short time later and a 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of robbery and handling stolen goods. She has been released under investigation.
The victim sustained a minor cut to his torso.
