Update: This issue is part of Operation Barometer which is our response to youth disorder. Some of the people offending in the town centre have been identified as living locally; so on their way out, or on their return home, they are also causing some problems in our area.

Update: We will be working with our partner agencies to ensure that early intervention with home visits and enforcement, is completed.

Update: Local officers will be patrolling the area in both uniform and plain clothes. Anyone identified as being in the area committing crime will be arrested. We will also be getting help from the police cadets with crime prevention advice to the community.

Update: We are appealing to the public to assist us in keeping crime down by locking car doors and ensuring vehicles are left secure.
