Anti-social behaviour is the main issue the Chadderton Neighbourhood Policing Team have been cracking down on following concerns from residents.

Operation Tide is our summer anti-social behaviour operation. Patrols have been increased in Fitton Park, Chadderton Hall Park, Coalshaw Green Park and Foxdenton. We’re also encouraging young people to get involved in positive activities put in place as part of Oldham Council’s Go Oldham programme. Visit www.gooldham.com to find out what’s on in your area.
Resident’s have also been thanking us for tackling anti-social behaviour in the Middleton Road West area. We targeted the one offender who was identified as responsible for the incidents, seizing three off-road bikes. Police also worked with Oldham Council and the housing association to tackle the problem, resulting in the eviction of the problem family.

This is a great result for the team and for the community. Please continue to work with us and tell us what issues you want us to tackle as a priority. You can get in touch by phone or email, come along to one of the meetings publicised on this page, or stop and chat to us when you see us out and about.

Thank you

Inspector Kevin Rankin
