Your Inspector

Dave Nutsey
Hello, I hope you are enjoying the warm weather that we’ve been lucky enough to have.
The Didsbury Neighbourhood Policing Team has been very busy tackling the issues that you have told us cause you the greatest concern. In Old Moat we seized three mini-motor bikes and have been using the Youth Bus in Old Moat Park on Friday evenings to deter anti-social behaviour and provide young people with positive activies.
During a recent operation to reduce crime in Withington and Old Moat we arrested 10 individuals, issued six cannabis street warnings, seized three vehicles for having no insurance, executed three search warrants and conducted 13 stop searches.
In Didsbury we held an event for older people, which provided them with advice from the police, fire service, Age Concrn, GMPTE and the health service. Pupils from Barlow Moor High School helped out on the day, which provided an opportunity to bridge the gap between young and old people.
If you’d like to tell us about your concerns then please pick up the phone or send us an email. Alternatively pop along to one of our community meetings or stop us when we are out and patrol.
