Update: We will continue to work hard on the reduction of theft related crimes within the town centre, as this impacts on the prices we pay for goods and can affect peoples jobs. We will patrol the area as often as we can. A new pilot is currently running in the Town Centre at the moment whereby 2 Student Officers are deployed for 2 weeks at a time to concentrate solely on Town Centre issues. If you see any suspicious activity please report it to our non emergency number 101 or find the nearest member of staff.
