What: Reports of anti-social behaviour via off road motorcycles

Where: All open areas in Ashton Upon Mersey West

When: At present crime records remain low in the area of Ashton Upon Mersey West, local officers are continuing to monitor crime patterns and will be quick to respond to any emerging issues. We do however recognise and listen to the concerns from the community of the forth coming summer months meaning the increase in the use of off road bikes and ASB. As a result the local policing team are planning a partnership approach to deal with this issue.

Update: The local policing team would encourage anyone with information to contact us on 101 or crime stoppers 0800 555 111, we will treat this information with the upmost confidentiality and will work with local housing and other partners to ensure those intent on causing antisocial behaviour and putting their own and other’s lives at risk using motorcycles in a dangerous manner are prosecuted.

When: Weekdays between 1400hrs - 1600hrs

Update: Neighbourhood officers are liaising with school regarding these issues and attempting to tackle this. Please report any incidents through to GMP.
