Inspector Frank Hall

I am Frank Hall and on behalf of my team welcome you to our webpage for Hindley, Hindley Green, and Abram wards. GMP is committed to Neighbourhood Policing and your area has a dedicated team consisting of a Neighbourhood Beat Sergeant, Darren Agnew, Neighbourhood Beat Officers and Police Community Support Officers. They have responsibility to manage their areas and will address any issues or problems within that locality.

I have worked for GMP for over 20 years and have worked most of my career on the Bolton Division before moving to Wigan in 2013. I have mainly worked in uniform roles and I have a great deal of Neighbourhood Policing experience which will assist me in Policing of my new area. Since moving to the Wigan Division I have worked on the Neighbourhood Policing Team for Lowton and Golborne wards and have most recently covered and had responsibility for the Neighbourhood Teams for Winstanley, Orrell, Worsley Mesnes, Bryn and Ashton In Makerfield wards.

The current issues on your area are burglaries, theft from motor vehicles and anti-social behaviour. A large proportion of burglaries and theft from motor vehicles reported at this time of year involve offenders entering via insecure doors and windows. Can I please ask that you take the simple step of locking and protecting your property to prevent you becoming a victim of this type of crime.

My team will shortly prepare a plan to tackle the seasonal threat from Anti-Social Behaviour in our area and I would like your continued support in helping us deal with this issue. Over this period we will be working closely with our Partners from the Local Authority, to deal effectively with Anti-Social Behaviour. Our partners will also assist us in providing diversionary activities for young people. Can I please urge you to report any Anti-Social Behaviour that you are experiencing it.
