I am Inspector Frank Hall and have recently been appointed as the new Neighbourhood Inspector for the Golborne and Lowton Wards and on behalf of my team I would like to welcome you to our website for your area.
As part of GMPs focus on Neighbourhood Policing I would like to introduce you to your dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team that Sergeant Paul Catterall and myself manage. As you will see you have both dedicated Neighbourhood Police Beat Officers and Police Community Support Officers who have responsibility for dealing with issues in your area. These Officers work closely with our partners from the Local Authority, Social Services, Housing Providers and the Primary Care Trust to tackle and resolve issues in your communities.
I joined GMP in 1995 and worked for the first 18 years of my service on the Bolton District before moving to the Wigan District in 2013. Throughout my service I have worked in a number of uniform roles, the majority of which have been in Neighbourhood Policing where I have gained a vast amount of experience in tackling community problems working closely with our partners. Most recently I have been the Neighbourhood Inspector for the Hindley, Hindley Green and Abram Wards.
I am passionate about Neighbourhood Policing and am committed, together with our partners, to strengthen our community links and build on our existing community assets. In doing so we will strive to reduce crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, keep our communities safe and protect the most vulnerable members of our society.
My team’s priorities will be set in line with the information and calls we receive from you the local community, and also information that you pass to our partners. As a result of this the problems and issues that matter to you and are affecting your community will be tackled as a priority. In order to do this I need your support by telling us what problems and concerns you have via one of the below reporting methods:
Please contact the team at Leigh Police Station on 0161 856 7225 or e-mail email@example.com
For non-emergency calls or to report a crime call 101.
Use 999 only in emergencies where there is a threat to life or crime in progress.
You can also follow us on social media, on Facebook at GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley, or on Twitter @GMPLeigh.
