I am delighted to be appointed to the role of Local Policing Inspector for Orrell, Winstanley, Worsley Mesnes, Bryn and Ashton-in-Makerfield.
I have been working in Wigan Borough since November 2016, with my previous police service centred on the City of Manchester and Bolton Divisions in a variety of operational roles. Most recently I was the Neighbourhood Inspector for Moss Side and Hulme in Manchester, where I also chaired the Student Safety Tactical Action Partnership, working with our partners to keep Manchester’s 80,000 students safe during their studies.
Passionate about neighbourhood policing, I am committed to strengthening our links to the community so that we can work together to keep our community safe, reduce crime and protect our most vulnerable residents.
We will be seeking to develop the ways in which we keep you informed about what is happening locally, both digitally and by being visible and available in public, so that you are also able to tell us about your own concerns.
In order to stop offenders from harming the community the information that you can provide is often our most valuable resource. Information can be passed to us directly by calling 101, or anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
