Residents will be able to speak to police by the poolside thanks to a new surgery at Glodwick Pool on Nugget Street.
Officers from the Oldham East Neighbourhood Policing Team will be at the pool between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on 25 February, 26 March, 23 April, 28 May, 25 June, 23 July, 27 August, 24 September, 22 October and 26 November.
The surgeries give members of the public the opportunity to raise any concerns or issues they may have.
Inspector Kevin Rankin said: “Surgeries give residents the chance to meet an officer and chat about their community. We want to hear about any concerns and will also be giving advice on home security and personal safety as well as providing help to set up Home Watch schemes.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to come and talk to us about what is going on in their area as the success of these surgeries relies on the support of the local community.”
