Drugs success in Shaw (Oldham)
Police in Shaw have arrested three people and seized Cannabis plants and resin as part of a crackdown on drugs.
Following concerns from residents about drug dealing in the area, officers from the Royton and Shaw Neighbourhood Policing Team executed warrants at two addresses over the festive season.
PC Adam Murphy said: “Drugs blight the lives of communities and we will continue to target those who bring misery on our residents and bring offenders to justice.
“I would like to thank the public for providing us with information that led to these arrests and hope this sends a warning to offenders that we will not tolerate drug dealing in our communities.
“I also want our communities to be reassured that should they have concerns about drugs in their neighbourhood, we will take positive action to stop these criminals in their tracks.
