“This operation was executed as a result of intelligence gathered over many months and we would urge anyone with any information to come forward and talk to us in confidence, either by calling 0161-872-5050 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.

“It is essential that communities tell us about what is going on in their area so we can tackle the issues that most affect them.”

Executive Councillor John Reilly said: “We are determined to tackle the issues that matter most to local residents. Trafford is one of the safest places to live in Greater Manchester and we want to keep it this way. Through activity such as this, we will support communities in taking action against those who blight their local area.

”Tackling, not tolerating anti-social behaviour is one of the key priorities for the Safer Trafford Partnership and I would urge residents to contact the ASB reporting line on 0161 912 2400 if they are experiencing problems so we can take action.”
