Man charged after airport incident


A man has been charged after an aircraft was endangered at Manchester Airport.

Joseph Lori (born 10/6/1961) of Bellott Street, Cheetham Hill was charged with one count of endangering an aircraft and two counts of failing to comply with regulations regarding the carrying of dangerous goods.

Lori is now due to appear at Trafford Magistrates' court on Friday 12 March 2010.

On Monday 28 September 2009, police were called to terminal two at Manchester Airport to a report of a strong smell coming from a bag about to be loaded onto a plane.

The bag was removed and an examination of the chemical revealed it was Ethylamine.
