Best value review

The purpose of Best Value reviews is to ensure that public services are:
* responsive to the needs of all citizens;
* efficient and of high quality;
* improving all the time.

Best Value reviews provide an opportunity to think again about what services are delivered and why; in addition, how a service is provided, and who provides it.

Consultation with the public, other forces, local authorities and partner organisations is carried out. Most reviews will take between 4 to 5 months.
