We currently receive a vast amount of requests for Policing memorabilia from all corners of the Globe. We regret that we cannot supply badges, patches or insignia for GMP, unless in exceptional circumstances.
Government Information on the Police
Car Auctions
All police vehicles are sold through public auction. GMP uses the BCA Auction Group, their auctions are held at Preston and Brighouse (Leeds).
Recovered Items (Property) Auctions
The Force have contracted two auction houses who sell police supplied recovered property. The auctions are held when there are enough items.

Traveller's Settlements
If travellers are on a public road, Greater Manchester Police will deal with them as with any traffic offenders.
There is a 'Travellers Liaison Officer' in each Local Authority who deals with matters of concern. As a response to a complaint we will send an officer to assess the situation.
If the problem exists on private land then the officer will advise the landowner to contact the town hall where the TLO will give advice on getting injunctions to remove the trespassers.
