Greater Manchester Local Criminal Justice Board
Greater Manchester Local Criminal Justice Board was established to transform the way the criminal justice system (CJS) works to catch, convict and rehabilitate more criminals in Greater Manchester and thereby improve public confidence in the CJS. As one of the 42 Local Criminal Justice Boards across England and Wales, made up of chief officers from each CJS agency GMLCJB will play a vital role in the fight to reduce crime and bring more offenders to justice. The local Board will improve co-operation between criminal justice agencies to deliver a joined up criminal justice service run for victims and the community.
