Benefits of Neighbourhood Policing:
- Reduce crime and anti-social behaviour to create Neighbourhood Communities which are safe and feel safe
- Give local people more opportunities to discuss local problems and be involved in finding solutions to them
- Support long-term problem-solving to tackle the causes of crime, anti-social behaviour and other issues
- Increase the accessibility, visibility and responsiveness of Neighbourhood Policing Teams
- Increase confidence in the police and partners to improve quality of life and deal with local concerns.
