Performance Statistics

Greater Manchester Police is committed to increasing the public’s confidence that we are dealing with the issues that matter to them, and being open and accountable about our performance is a way in which we hope to achieve this. We want the public to know not only who is policing their local area, but also how good a job they are doing.

In order to fulfil our goal of being open and accountable, performance data is available via the links below. This information provides a snapshot of crime levels in Greater Manchester, and is updated monthly.

The following documents are available for download, showing the performance figures for Greater Manchester Police for October 2009. If you would like more specific information about your local area, visit the Neighbourhood Policing section of the website for performance statistics at a neighbourhood level.

If you are having difficulty interpreting the terms or data within these files, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions.

We welcome any feedback about this information, and suggestions as to how we can better inform the public about our performance. If you have any comments about the documents on this page, please email us.
