Policing Plans

Every force and authority in the country has a legal duty to publish a Policing Plan, setting out priorities for the forthcoming year, how forces are working towards these and the measures and targets used to assess their performance.

The Policing Plan gives an insight into policing and is used to showcase some of the work which goes on behind the scenes in forces and authorities to achieve priorities and keep communities safe.

GMPA/GMP Policing Plan 2010-11

The Policing Plan describes how GMP is working to be the most effective police force in the UK.

This year, the Policing Plan is web-based and interactive. It is designed to give readers easier access to information, allowing them to view the sections of the Policing Plan they feel are most important to them.

Policing Priorities 2010-11

GMPA and GMP have also produced an A3 poster, summarising the policing priorities for 2010-11. This is to communicate the policing priorities to members of the public. This can be viewed by clicking the image below. The poster is also accessible through the interactive Policing Plan.
