Oldham

Oldham is one of the largest towns within the Greater Manchester region, towards the northeast. Although situated only five miles away from the city centre urban district a quarter of the borough is in the Peak District National Park, and it provides a gateway to the Pennines between the rivers of Irk and Medlock. The borough includes town such as Failsworth to one side and Saddleworth to the other, with the likes of Royton, Chadderton and Hollinwood in-between and close borders with Rochdale and Tameside.
