Electoral offence caution - GSA 529/19

Faisal Rana – August 13th 2018 cautioned with engaging in an act at an election intending to deprive another of a vote contrary to sections 62A(1) and 168(1) of the Representations of the People Act 1983

Please can you provide the following information in relation to the above:

1) The rank and/or job title of the person who authorised a caution be offered in the above case.

2) The CPS and police guidelines which were referred to that supported the authorisation for a caution to be offered.
