On or about the 14th August 2018, a report appeared in the Manchester Evening News, that can be viewed at this link:

Within the report appears the following:
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman confirmed the force had received a report of electoral fraud relating to the May 2018 local elections. He added:
"On Monday August 13, a 51-year-man was cautioned with engaging in an act at an election intending to deprive another of a vote contrary to sections 62A(1) and 168(1) of the Representations of the People Act 1983."
