Notice of Misconduct hearing

A Gross Misconduct Hearing involving a Greater Manchester Police Officer will be held on the 12th – 14th August 2026 (inclusive).
The hearing will take place at PSD Hearing Suite, Unit A, Northampton Road, Central Park, Manchester.
The hearing will begin at 10:00.
PC 13625 Simon Rickard will answer allegations that their conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020 in relation to:
- Authority, respect & courtesy
- Equality and diversity
- Discreditable conduct
- Honesty & integrity (integrity only)
It is alleged that PC Rickard has acted in a manner which was derogatory, discriminatory, misogynistic and/or amounted to sexual harassment. The allegations relate to comments made to colleagues.
Members of the public wishing to attend the hearing must register to do so.
The need to manage those persons attending the hearing will limit numbers to 12 total.
If members of the press or public wish to observe the hearing, they are required to pre-register via the GMP website, leaving their details including contact telephone number and email address. Anyone who has not pre-registered will not be allowed to access the hearing.
No recording or filming of the proceedings is allowed.
