ALLEGATIONS
On September 23rd, 2023, whilst on duty, former PC Smith was driving a GMP vehicle which collided with a parked vehicle. He left the scene without stopping or reporting the collision or attempting to locate the owner of the parked vehicle. Former PC Smith attempted to wipe down the visible damage to the police vehicle but dishonestly informed his supervision that he had not done so and was not aware of the collision. He later told his supervision he had been aware of the collision and had attempted to wipe down the damage.
These matters are allegedly in breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in relation to
